Community Channel 16 is a government access channel available to subscribers of
Comcast.
The channel features a community "bulletin board" of information and
rebroadcasts of meetings of the Edina City Council, Planning Commission,
Transportation Commission and Park Board. Meetings of the Edina City
Council are shown at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesdays and 7 p.m. Sundays
until the group's next meeting. Meetings of the Edina Planning
Commission are shown at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursdays and 3 p.m. Sundays
for two weeks following a meeting. Meetings of the Edina Transportation
Commission are shown at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fridays and 3 p.m. Saturdays
for two weeks following a meeting. Meetings of the Edina Park Board are
shown at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturdays and 8 p.m. Mondays for two weeks
following a meeting. Edina 16 also airs the weekly meeting of the Edina
Rotary Club. This program is shown at 12pm Mondays, 7pm Tuesdays and 5pm
Saturdays.
"In Edina," an
award-winning half-hour video magazine, airs 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Mondays, 5 p.m. Fridays, noon Saturdays and noon Sundays.
It is hosted by Emmy-nominee Lillian McDonald and features the people,
places and events of the community.
Agenda: Edina is a monthly news program that summarizes the actions taken
in the Edina Council Chambers that affects the City of Edina most. It is
hosted by Dorothea Martti and airs 10 a.m. Tuesdays, and 6 p.m. on
Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
